About the event
The HBCU Showcase® is a premier recruiting event designed to provide high-level volleyball athletes with meaningful exposure to college coaches while competing in a structured, competitive environment. Our showcases bring together talented athletes from across the country who are actively pursuing collegiate volleyball opportunities.
The HBCU Showcase® California will take place on Saturday, July 18, 2026, in Bakersfield, California, and will feature both girls and boys showcase divisions. Each division will be run independently to ensure focused instruction, evaluation, and live play opportunities.
Athletes will participate in organized warm-ups, position-specific drills, team drills, and competitive game play designed to highlight skill, athleticism, and volleyball IQ. College coaches will have the opportunity to evaluate athletes both in live action and through structured segments.
